Google is at it again: Revolutionizing blogging with Google Weblogs (Beta)

Written by Liane. Find out who subscribes to the blog newsletter now.

It’s a shame that I’ve posted this late and I have overlooked this buzz while logging on to my blogger account. More shame since I labeled this one into blogging news, which as a campus journalist I now would be unethical with the knowledge that ‘news’ are to be timely if they had to be really real ‘news’. I had practically no choice, what can I label this post aside from blog news? Anyway, this is for everybody who still don’t now or have overlooked this sign for the new era of blogging.

Google is at it again

THIS IS ONE IS GONNA BE BIG. I’m really excited about the new product Google’s making and releasing later this year. I believe that it’ll single-handedly bring blogs and blogging to a whole new level, and an easier and greater one at that.

My real favorite part is Google Weblog’s promise to end bloggers trouble regarding our PageRanks and Search Engine Optimization difficulties. It’s wonderful to know that only a matter of months from now, all I have to do is focus on my blog and Google Weblogs will do the work on making my blog more visible. I’ll be forever thankful that I’ll be finally relieved of the hard SEO work. Speaking of hard SEO, I have recently submitted my blog manually to over a hundred of directories, and I still haven’t finished and some are still pending for approval. I know we are all facing the same problems in promoting our blogs, getting the traffic we want, and landing on first page results of search engines. It’s good to know that some people out there is doing something to ease the blogosphere’s burden.

Loving Google Forever

Back then, I thought of Google was just some place to find answers for my research. When I’ve been to blogging, I discovered that this is not only the name of a search engine, this is the company that dominates the place called ‘internet’. This is the company that holds the online treasures and gives paychecks to an endless list of online publishers. As for blogging, I think the blogosphere would be exponentially smaller if blogger and blogspot hosting never existed. Plus, I’m still thankful that Google bought Feedburner and offered everything (even the Pro features) for free. And I’m loving every single software they released in the market. Especially when all you need to avail them is to go through a less than five minute registration.

I’ll be on the lookout for Google Weblogs and let’s just hope they’re gonna be as great as what I think it is. Knowing Google, they’ll be coming out with this one a hundred times better than what I expect, and I’m already expecting a lot.

So you want my final words? All hail Google!
