I had lot’s of fun designing my blog layout. Sometimes, I even feel guilty that I get to spend more time designing (and redesigning) my layout than doing the actual blogging work.
Most people get too frustrated or lost with designing their blog layout. To tell you the truth, it’s just easy, and don’t think that I’m telling you it’s easy because I know how to do it. Really guys, it’s just easy.
My Simple and Easy Tips on Designing Your Blog Layout
Actually, all you need to do is study codes. Go to your edit html tab and go look over your codes. Study the parts and sections that constitute your blog layout. Just get familiarized with this stuff and learn some basics about html. Hey, I’m not an expert with html or xml codes but from the basics, I get to do lot’s of cool things.
Don’t go comment me that it’s hard. Actually, it’s not that hard as long as you put your mind to it. Codes are just like gibberish-looking sentences, but it does give much meaning once you know how to ‘read’ them. When you can’t save your template because the codes are wrong, it’s just like committing grammatical errors or typos. Go look back to your template, find that something wrong and hit save.
What I Want to Engrave Into Your Skulls
One of my personal motto is ‘it’s better to learn it today than pay someone to do it forever’. Just imagine how much money you can save by just learning a few things.
My Story
The things I love about my blog is that if you erase the dot blogspot dot com in my blog url, it already looks like a website (or at least I think it does). And you know what, that is the end product of learning simple codes not to mention getting hooked up with web page designing. Don’t worry, you don’t have to get hooked with web page designing just to be a blog layout designer. Just go study! Hang around with codes for a week or so. It’ll only take long for you to make cool designs. Swear on that.
