Moneymaking Site Number One – Google Adsense

Google Adsense is the biggest of all the blog moneymakers. Lots of people have found their own fortune with Adsense but a lot more are still struggling to get some money out of it. Adsense works simply by displaying relevant (most of the time) advertisements on your blog. Once you have been approved, all you need is to get the codes to place on your blog. You get paid everytime someone clicks on those advertisements.

The Hard Way of Dealing With Google Adsense

Though it may seem the easy ‘get paid when they click’ process, Adsense is not just your easy moneymaker type. There are lots of things you need to learn with Adsense, most of it is increasing the clickthrough rates. There are many behind the scenes info you need to learn and it’s not easy being an expert in this. I’m not trying to say to you that it’s difficult making money with Adsense, all I want to say is it’s difficult making MORE money with Adsense. I’m not really an expert with Adsense, in fact, I think I won’t be using this in my blog. Though I’m already an Adsense publisher at this moment.

The Dangers of Google Adsense

The main accusation against Google Adsense is that it somehow cheapens your content. Some readers get turned off when they see this among your advertisements. Even you may feel the same way when visiting other sites with Google Adsense advertisements. Plus on some cases, irrelevant ads gets into your blog.

My Say

If you’re really planning to go on with Google Adsense, then you must need to learn a lot of things first. The good thing with this is once you have mastered the tricks and trade, you’ll be making more money than you’ll ever do on other advertising networks. In fact, Google Adsense constitute the biggest percent of many blog monetizers paychecks. Go To Google Adsense

Moneymaking Site Number Two – Bidvertiser

Bidvertiser works the same way as Google Adsense. But this one is more preferred for small time publishers for the reason that Bidvertiser offers a lower payout rate of $10 than the Google Adsense, payout rate of $100. For those who still don’t understand, you only need to make at least $10 worth of income and for Bidvertiser to pay you unlike Adsense where you need to earn at least $100.

For some reason, I still observe many small time publishers going to Google Adsense than to Bidvertiser. I think they still see greater potential working under Google than any similar moneymaker site. Though I still recommend Bidvertiser if you know you have a small-time blog. Go To Bidvertiser

Moneymaking Site Number Three – Text Link Ads

Just like what the name suggests, text link ads is a place to sell your text links. Instead of those banner advertisings that other moneymaking sites place on your blog, text link ads offer a more cleaner-looking advertising substitute. I don’t really know much about text link ads because at this moment I haven’t joined yet. However, by the things I have heard out there, text link ads makes it easier for potential advertisers to find you and most probably buy a text advertisement on your blog.

What I like about text link ads is that, just like I’ve said, it’s a more cleaner way of putting advertisements on your blog. I think your readers won’t even notice that they’re actually ads. Plus it’s a space saver too.

My Say

If you already have advertisers arriving at your email asking if they could buy a link at your blog, chances are, you won’t be needing Text Link Ads. But if you don’t, then you better join now. Go To Text Link Ads

Moneymaking Site Number Four – Blogvertise

Ok, so let’s start with the review sites. First stop is Blogvertise. Hmn, what should I say with blogvertise? Well, it’s basically a get paid to review site. Blogvertise first and foremost requires a minimum age of three months for a blog to be accepted (then other key factors like ranks and such). But if you have a new blog and want to monetize it right away, go to blogvertise and they might still accept you on a probation status. You‘ll still get paid but on a much smaller amount. Then again, you might want to wait a little more and work a little harder on your blog. It’s much better monetizing a blog and not worrying about issues like less than three months old. Go to Blogvertise

Moneymaking Site Number Five – PayPerPost

If you have some plans monetizing your blog with Google Adsense, then you just might want to forget about PayPerPost or the other way around. PayPerPost (as far as I know) don’t accept blogs under Google Adsense. That striked up some controversies and issues back then. Still many bloggers find a lot of potential with PayPerPost. Most gets lured by the display of top blog earning and earners on their home page. Some bloggers manage to make three to five or maybe six digits of income every month with PayPerPost and there’s no stopping. PayPerPost is one of the most popular advertising network and with lot’s of advertisers in them. That’s why bloggers at PayPerPost never runs out of tasks.

The Pros

Just like I’ve said, lot’s of advertisers means lot’s of tasks. $20 for your first post is also a great.

The Cons

Does not allow blogs running Google Adsense blogs and those blogs hosted on direct money-making platforms. They are probably one of the advertising network with the thickest rule book. Also, blogs on free hosting (blogspot, myspace logs for example) might have lesser tasks since they provide filters for advertisers when choosing blogs to hire.

I still love the fun part where you get $20 dollars for your first review. Maybe that’s why many bloggers end up making money with PayPerPost than the others. Go To PayPerPost

Moneymaking Site Number Six – ReviewMe

I say ReviewMe is probably the biggest of all the review sites. The cost of a review in ReviewMe does not depend on the advertiser, it depends on the blog that you have. A price of a review is calculated by a collection of factors like your ranks, average number of visits/traffic, RSS subscribers and many more. If you are under Blogvertise or PayPerPost, you should be familiar with the usual drill to get advertisers that you can review. On ReviewMe, advertisers find you instead. The more your review cost, the more it means quality for your blog. Also, advertisers don’t just buy reviews from you. They are more likely to study and look around your blog first.

The Pros

Got sick of advertising networks paying you $20 dollars or less for a single blog review when in fact you know that your blog is a high-ranking one? Then ReviewMe is for you! Get paid that price that your blog is really worth, the lowest price could be some 30-40 dollars while other reviews could go as far as a three to four digit. Pretty great cash.

The Cons

Do not, and I mean do not, expect to get approved if you got a low (or sometimes average) ranking blog. ReviewMe only hires the best and the populars here on the net.

My Say

ReviewMe is a great place if you wanted to get paid the price that your blog and blogging should be really worth of. And I love the fact that it’s more likely for advertisers to find me than me finding advertisers to review. Go to ReviewMe

Moneymaking Site Number Seven – SponsoredReviews

I could put this one alone PayPerPost and ReviewMe. SponsoredReviews also has a lot of advertisers and bloggers so expect to have a lot of tasks waiting for you once you get approved. Well, I think I don’t have anything much to say with SponsoredReviews. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not because this ad network doesn’t have much in it, in fact, this one is among the best. Just don’t know what more to say. Hehe. Excuse me for this. Go to SponsoredReviews

Moneymaking Site Number Eight – BloggerWave

I don’t have any personal information to share with BloggerWave, and so I did some research. According to SocialSEO dot com, BloggerWave looks to be in comparison with Blogvertise and PayPerPost (although in my opinion, PayPerPost is way better than Blogvertise). Also, according to them, they have heard some blog making $10 for a fifty word post or so. Pretty quick and easy money then? See for yourself. Go to BloggerWave

Moneymaking Site Number Nine – Smorty

The faster growing and rising advertising network for me. Many bloggers are loving this new contender, and advertisers are flocking to get in too. Some bloggers confide that this is the best get paid to blog network they had been so far. They pay you each week for approved posts by the advertisers (yeah, the advertisers are the one who approves your posts, not the admin). Not much rules either compared to PayPerPost. You are free to write whatever you want about the sponsored review. You don’t have to directly talk about the advertiser or the product, you could just post something about it on how it connect to your blogging or some personal experience. Payments are via PayPal, no minimum payout. Great right? Go to Smorty

Moneymaking Site Number Ten – b5media

Did you know that this one is co-founded by Darren Rowse also popularly known as ProBlogger. He’s the 2nd problogger (literally) I know who owns an advertising network, the first is the dot com mogul also popularly known as John Chow with his affiliate-advertising network, TTZ media. I don’t know what got into ProBlogger with b5media. They do hire bloggers, but for some reason, it’s nothing like the advertising network. Just a fifth or less of the website space is used to get bloggers and advertisers. The bigger part is used for news headline from other sites and from b5media. Well at least, they got a blogger job board there. Go to b5media

Moneymaking Site Number Eleven – Blogitive

Arg, got nothing to write! Can somebody tell me any personal experience with Blogitive? I have none and I found none. Skip. Go to Blogitive

Moneymaking Site Number Twelve – PayU2blog

Should I say is one of the lowest paying advertising network? PayU2blog has a flatrate of $5 for a single review regardless of the various ranks and traffic. You are not allowed to express a negative opinion. Payments are via PayPal every two weeks. PayU2blog might look like an advertising network to stay away from if your base it one my those sentences. However, many bloggers are also defending PayU2blog’s reputation and insists it’s a great advertising network. Bloggers say that the staff and admin is very reachable, in fact, you can call them! The $5 flat rate is also defended with the fact that posts could just be 60 words with one link and not to be obvious advertisements for you are given the freedom to relate to the advertiser or product in any way you want. Seems like they got loyal bloggers willing to protect and stand for them huh? Well, I guess PayU2Blog will not gain those loyal bloggers if they haven’t done or offerd something great. Check for yourself. Go to PayU2blog

Moneymaking Site Number Thirteen – Weblogs Inc.

Maybe this one should be taken from this list. Many (or all as I suspected) bloggers reading this wouldn’t even get through this advertising network. Blogs listed in Weblogs Inc are the humungous Engadget, Autoblog and Joystiq (they are waving the fact at my face in their homepage). Only for the giant blogs then? I don’t know if some decent blogs ever did make it here. Contact me if you have more to say about Weblogs Inc. I’ll appreciate it. Really. Go to Weblogs Inc.
