Probably the hardest and the most time consuming tasks that we bloggers have to face is regularly creating content to update our very blogs. Sure, link building, vital SEO, or those other schemes might be time consuming too, but not as time consuming as writing good posts forevermore as long as you remain a blogger right? Not to mention finding a topic to write about and having to run out of ideas every now and then.
Well anyway, I’m not here to talk about how to come up with a post topic or sculpting through ideas. Though if you want to read about those things first, then try reading about my previous articles entitled: Got No Posts In Stock? A Fast Remedy to Updating Your Content and Practice to Write Regularly.
So where was I? Oh yeah, Killer Tips for Killer Contents!
I can’t blame many bloggers for having a hard time coming up with consistent quality content updates. Even I am having a hard time with it. I’m not a full time blogger so sitting down for hours and hours trying create and polish posts to perfection seems as impossible as my blog having Pagerank 10. But it’s good enough that I manage to produce posts that are both useful and informative (or so they tell me).
My purpose for now is to give a sound guide for all you my fellow bloggers reading this as to how (horribly busy as you may be) you can possible come up with posts that might not be that long or chuckloads packed with info but nevertheless still of good quality can really do carry a fine reputation for your blog and for you as a blogger.
When Writing Content, Your Goal Should Always be to Help
Of course, rule this excludes our much-needed random ramblings post once or twice month. But for the rest of the posts, you should bear this golden rule every single time. When you write, don’t think about writing to impress readers or to snatch the keyword hunger of search engine bots. Think always, and I say always, about how your post would be of value to the ones reading it. On how it would affect your readers and on how it would help them or prove to them useful. If you can write posts that are really beneficial, then it’s beneficial on your end too.
Sometimes, You Just Have To Make Your Posts MORE Readable
For this, you need to go over my previous detailed post: Make Your Posts More Readable so You Get More Attention
Don’t Just Blab About Things, Give Strong Points and Concrete Opinions
Blogging is personal, I know and respect that fact. That’s the main reason why most blogs are so full of posts telling tales about anything and everything on the bloggers point of view. It’s not bad, but doing it more often is not that good either. You have to bear in mind that the ones reading (or planning to read) your posts are all online busy persons. Some of them might find time reading about all your gossips or criticisms or concerns on what’s going to happen to this world by the next millennium or other blah blah blahs. But most of them, I assure you, don’t have time to devote to articles that are merely trashed with unworthy blabberings. Remember that you always have to give justice to whatever you write. Presents good points and opinions that concerns your readers, not just you alone. The more your post might be likely to pose an effect to your readers, then all the better.
To Be Compelling is the Secret!
Successful bloggers all posses the gift of being such a compelling writer. They can create a drive on their readers to make their content just plain irresistible. Being skilled in this one is not just something you can accomplish overnight, it takes months, even years of practicing and improving your writing skills as a blogger. You must learn for yourself the reader’s way of thinking and going after things that makes them interested. It starts from learning how to make attractive post titles to making a good discussion, giving useful tips even rants and just making a great impression on whatever your up to.
