NOT Being a Personal Blogger is like Doom

You know the famous line that if you don't know adsense and stuff, you're living under a rock? At least that's what the dot com mogul, John Chow said. In my case, I've just discovered that not having a personal blog is like dooming yourself to the ends of the blogosphere. And I'm dead serious.

My Story so Far

Here it goes, the big flash news that might get your eyes to roll 360 degrees within a nanosecond record is that I've just joined multiply. Boohoo, at last I. Am. Not. That. Ignorant. Anymore. Was that so hard to say?

Blogging is like all this crazy, you get to manage posts, hectic scheds, adverts, roam around the blogosphere, comment here and there, and read posts in between the surfings. Where did the good times go? That's what I've asked myself. I was just about to stab someone (that's not exaggeration) if this mind-bludgeoning activity persists to continue, and so, I just decided to take a little bit of tiny-winy break before I cut myself loose.

Blogging was all this and that. Sure, I teach about blogging, learn some more and teach again, but one big thing I miss is the real intense pleasure of actually doing it without any *why am I doing this* critical thinking. I joined multiply and figured out that it's the best way to try blogging from a whole different perspective. Personal blogging that is.

Needless to say, it took me to new blogging heights

Most bloggers I know take blogging as a job, much like a marketeer would do. Promoting and keep people coming. The awful part is just taking for granted how blogging really is at its very essence. And I think (from my personal blogging experience) that the essence of blogging is just sharing your thoughts to the world. Thoughts that would somehow, in one way or another, concern them.

My advice, is to give your(blogging)self a break

If you feel that blogging has become more of a must-do rather than a want-to-do, then try converting your blogging into the personal blogging area for a while. Just expose yourself into your thoughts and pour it out. It's a total release of all the stress (mostly from thoughts) that have been lingering inside you.

For those who have a personal blog, you agree with me in this right?
