My latest wiki obsession brings me to ShopWiki.I believe the Wiki org deserves another big round of applause for this talented shopping site - a remarkably genius shopping site that is to say.
I should say that I expected to find this site patented to Amazon's behemoth shopping structure. ShopWiki nonetheless proved to be something more basic and simple, yet so powerful that it gave justice as to hpw the word "wiki" demands some sort of respect and recognition here online.
What Makes ShopWiki not just 'a' shopping site but 'the' shopping site.
For one, it works just like Google. For another, it doesn't really give much care as to the profits that it would pull (I have a high respect to the wiki org for that). What ShopWiki actually does is that it pulls all shopping related contents from all online stores (emphasize all online stores) and presents the related items as you type a keyword. Like a typical search engine that is.
In short, it crawls the web for every available product there is. Bet every online store out there have made significant profits from this free feature.
My Blogger Shopper Adventure
ShopWiki is relatively easy to navigate and has a clear sense of what you are looking for. I first landed on accesories (sorry,my female attraction can get a strong pull out of me) and tried several keywords and search preferences. It's soooo cool. Defining your search to look at a specific item takes just a nanosecond. Haha. Price, brand and color is at your fingertip control for preferences.
I had fun searching for cool blogging shirts. I found a great collection of them, all just just under $20. I didn't took me a minute even. Seriously. In the end, this great blogger tank top caught my full attention. I loved it!
Here's a snapshot of my fave blogger shirt (I know, female only. haha)
So after just less than 10 minutes of tweeking and searching around ShopWiki, I found exactly what I was looking for (or loved what I just stumbled on with no frills and the usual hassle).
By the way, this is so important. If you have an online store, whatever kind of online store, you seriously need to register at ShopWiki. It's fast, it's easy and best of all, it's absolutely free. ShopWiki continues to crawl everyday for new finds and the audience searching for items is growing exponentially big. The deals are great, the interface, well, it's absurdly friendly and best of all, they don't actually treat searchers as their money faucet.
All in all, a blogger's shopping haven worth the payday visit :)
