Proud to be Pinoy with Charise Pempengco's First International Song - Note to God

I first heard the news on national tv, what was shown was just a blurb of the whole Oprah show. The next day, I immediately watched the whole thing on youtube.

I am sure you are familiar with the whole story.

One year after her first guesting at Oprah (where she was invited by Celine Dion to sing with her at the Madison Square Garden), she came back to commemorate the end of Oprah's search for the Smartest and Most Talented Kids. She sang her first international single written by a grammy-award winner songwriter and of course of her famous handler, the legend himself, David Foster.



It was breathtaking (and before, I only used that adjective for picturesque scenes.)

She got a standing ovation even before hitting the last note, actually, that's an understatement. She wasn't near finishing and Oprah Winfrey were in tears. Btw, she said during the interview that she had a crush on Josh Groban. Haha, very cute! I would love a duet on The Prayer.

Just makes me proud to be Pinoy. ♥
