Blogosphere - The Only Place Where Everyone Seems to be Usually Nice...Usually

Sometimes, I do think it's kinda Utopean (you know, what Thomas More had said on a perfect society, as in greek 'utopia' = 'ideal place'). Okay, so maybe it's just me with a political science background. What I'm trying to say is, it just completely amazes me that there seems to be a world (virtual nonetheless) where people acts and usually looks nicer. Maybe this is the reason why I prefer to stay online rather than roll around my bed.

Is everyone righteous or just pretentious?

The 'nice' attitude can be credited to the fact that bloggers depends on each other (whether we like it or not). You can't literally and figuratively gain success without establishing blog connections. This is the very basic survival 101 tip: have a blogger friend or get your blog killed in the end.

So does this explain why people are usually nice? Because they just need to suck up on anyone? Do I suck up on anyone? Do you? I guess that's not a very good of an explanation right?

Why are you so nice to me? Why?

If we take that into an irony, you'll obviously gain enemies the moment you turn off the 'nice attitude'. Actively spamming for example, is the best method so far to irritate a blogger (though I wonder why I'm not so irritated with spammers as I'm supposed to be). Anyway, that just tells the story of how bypassing your limitations (as in spamming for example) can spell you T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Reputation damage is a ore formal way of putting it.

My 'Nice' Story

I began as a newbie. Right. Everyone did. By that time, I had a number a lot of bloggers that I looked up to (even until now). I was usually dead scared of just leaving an 'I like your blog' note to their comment form. It makes me so nervous, like I thought they would snap at me or ignore me if I did (which is kinda silly if I think about it now). You know how I got over it?

It was just simple. I didn't expect they would reciprocate in return with a 'thank you' email. It was a small gesture, but nonetheless, it was an experience that I learned a lot in. There is not much of a difference to the term 'blogger'. Sure there are pros and sure there are newbies. But it's not something that separates us. What's more is that his system actually encourages people- people like me.

Bloggers are naturally friendly bunch of folks... at least I believe in this...

Well, except maybe those who really blog on the basis of hate. Other than that, I do believe that bloggers are naturally friendly. I guess it's a sort of adapted behavior of reading a lot of posts, giving comments/feedbacks, participating in programs and (especially) being courteous to advertisers (admit it). LOL.
