Launching a New Service Soon - Your Content Perfect Ebook Coming Right Up

Written by Liane. Find out who subscribes to the blog newsletter now.

FACT: the online world is getting polluted with worthless informational products (ebooks) at a staggering rate. And guess what, people are getting sick and tired of it. If you’re selling an ebook, standards are getting higher in impressing your buyers (so that they will buy from you again!) or if you’re giving an ebook for free, well so are thousands of other professionals! That means you needing to work extra harder in perfecting your ebook for people trust you – or at the very least- remember you. Tough isn’t it? Well, not anymore. Someone can take care of it.

That Secret Weapon Called eBook

The three main purpose of ebooks are for 1. Promoting your brand 2. Building your email list 3. Making profits. Really smart people can make an ebook and get all those things in one shot. Ebooks are really great materials (either for profits, promotions or both) to distribute online. That’s why if you want to make it big in your niche, you should most likely have authored your own ebook. Really good ebooks can propel you to riches!

Talk about John Chow’s ebook: How I Went from Zero to $47,000 a Month, ShoeMoney’s ebook: Xtreme Internet Marketing Course and Darren Rowse’s ebook: 31 days to Build a Better Blog. All of which have greatly increased their authority and revenue!

THE PROBLEM: there’s a big power in ebooks, and both the bad news and the good news is that every professional out there (you included) have now discovered it. The market had an influx of these ‘informational products’ making everyone struggle to end up with the better one. Why? Because when it comes to these ebooks, the best ones just keeps making more promotions (that means more profits!).

A top marketer can tell you, mastering the secrets of internet marketing is just the beginning, the real secret is to create a product that will stand the test of COMPETITION. Need I say more?

SOME POINTERS FOR YOUR EBOOK

Did you really came up with the BEST TITLE? (title could be everything!)
Is the title page appealing to your readers (spark interest!)
Are the copyright and the disclaimer notice suitable? (or do you have one?)
Are the chapters well formed?
Are the page lay-outs perfectly CLEAN?
Are the sentence structure COHERENT and UNDERSTANDABLE?
Is the overall font format READER-FRIENDLY?
Is the content FREE of TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS?
Is the content FREE of GRAMMATICAL ERRORS?
Is the content TOP NOTCH?
Is it WORTH the PRICE you’re SELLING it?

If you’re selling an ebook… The really depressing part is when someone buys it, and then the next day he comes back asking for a refund…

If you’re using your ebook as a promotional tool… the downside is when no one really cares about it as it just ends up among the bulk of other easily-forgetten ebooks.

THE SOLUTION: New "Fix" Service Will Be Launched Soon

In a couple of days, I will open up an ebook proofreading and optimization service specifically targeted to bloggers and internet marketers on the ‘information product’ selling and promotion business. The concept has already been formed and I’m just finalizing a couple of details about the service’s system. Expect it to go live within a few days (or a week at the very maximum).

The Inspiration Behind The Idea

I made a Blogging Tips ebook by the time I was a newbie @ 15 years old. Now I’m 17 and I’ve seriously seen a lot of ebooks in action (both free and for a price).

Some are really good ones and I’ve kept them with me. As for the others, well let’s just say it wasn’t worth it and [sadly] I had to go to the creator asking for a refund (I don’t seriously like asking for refunds but there are really just these crappy ebook out there that you felt like you’ve been robbed).

Realizing the great effort that every author placed in his ebook, I wanted to strengthen that value in the aspects of proofreading and content enhancement. That doesn’t help much when it comes to marketing but in terms of making a customer happy (and come back to you again!)… well… that’s the very essence of this service.

Stay tuned for the service launch! Already interested? Secure a spot by contacting me now.

The Strongest and Most Powerful Link Revealed

Written by Liane. Find out who subscribes to the blog newsletter now.

And no, it's not a link from CNN or TIME website (though that's a dream link too). It's not an accumulation of thousands of link either. Do you even know what the strongest and the most powerful link is? Here's the clue: it's something YOU can easily give but will almost take you forever to receive. In simpler terms, you have the power to give it away and yet having one will be the hardest link building scheme ever

SEO gurus will most definitely not agree with me on this one

I'm speaking as a blogger and certainly, my hierarchy of what's 'stronger' and more 'powerful' might be different from their own perspectives. I couldn't care less. Well, to cut this story short, I would now reveal what for me is the best link that any blogger could ever get...

The strongest and most powerful link is the link with your name as the anchor text. I call it, a name link...

Have you ever noticed that the most successful bloggers are easily being linked upon through their very names? Think about the number of times you have linked to Problogger through the anchor text Darren, or to Entreprenuers-Journey through Yaro. Amazing isn't it? That's why I said you can easily get it but in return, it's hard for you to have one yourself.

What's With the Name Link?

Name links doesn't build much seo goodness, BUT it builds authority, reputation, trust and branding and all the things that you can't even imagine in a single link. It's all in there.

Name links builds...
familiarity among bloggers
popularity among readers
and authority among everyone

I frequently see bloggers asking to link to them through capricious anchor texts like "make money online" or "blogging tips" because they want to take part in the keyword competition. Or usually, they even include the keywords in their very names like "John @ affiliate" for example. That's fine by me. Though in a world where keywords are just a matter of a search engine algorithm usage and not a thing for readership building, sometimes you have to choose between which weighs in best for your standards. Guess what, I chose readership building.

No offense meant for those having keyword names. This post certainly have dropped any concerns for seo. I am just reflecting on my mere observations as to how pro bloggers accumulate their links, which in turn, might prove beneficial to others.

As for me, every time someone links to this blog with the anchor text Liane, it seems more special compared to the hundreds who have linked with "blogging tips". Well of course I'm not setting aside the fact that it had greatly helped in the SERPs results.

The Hardest Link of All

The issue with the name link (and I coined that term just now) is that no matter how hard you try and how large your link campaigns go, name links doesn't fall under the category of links that you can easily work or ask for. Either they develop by themselves or they just don't.

Name Links Don't Come Easy, but you might as well try
branding your blog through your name
not mixing up keywords with your name
using your name in email signatures

Maybe this is also the reason why I prefer to link to bloggers using their names (see my link of expert friends below). It's high time you give attention to building your name links don't you think? And by the way, thank you for those who have linked to my blog through the anchor text Liane.

The Two Worst Blogging Styles in Writing That You Should Really Stay Away From

Written by Liane. Find out who subscribes to the blog newsletter now.

It's been a long week. Just as what I've promised, a killer tip to blast this week off. From thousands (okay maybe hundreds)of blogs that I've been following for the past two years, I could say I have enough of the credit to talk to you about the various writing styles in blogging. I've seen the best ones, and also probably the worst, and I would make it a point to spread the word so you won't do the same grave mistakes.

The Two Worst Blogging Styles in Writing

I had lots of close encounters mind you. These sort of styles just makes me want to close the browser before I the built-in auto-corrector would turn on (saves me from a lot of trouble). These kinds of styles certainly vary. You might be surprised that there is a decent writing style mentioned here and that it is popularly used and is though of as effective. But then again, I'll give you reasons why in the world of blogging, it just won't work.

Forgive me for the names, I just made them up. It's the description that really matters.

The Lazy Blogger Style
The most common and obviously bad to say the least.

Usual doers: newbie bloggers
What it looks like: I'll tell you what it looks like, it looks like a grade school student trying to write his journal homework. The lazy blogger style is really as useless as it can be. Although good points may be present in the post, it just wasn't thoroughly discussed (or worse, there's no much discussion at all). Lazy blogging style is frequently committed by newbie bloggers who wants to get committed with blogging but just can't. It usually takes just 200 words or less, grammatical errors are everywhere and you just can't stand looking at it. Well, at least I know I can't.

How to avoid it: at all costs, if you don't have any idea on what to write, don't push yourself too hard. True, posting on a regular schedule is important, but if it just packs your blogs with cheap posts, better not write anything at all. Quality over quantity. It doesn't mean that your have 1,000 posts in your archive that you're technically way better than the other blogger who only have 100 posts to his name. It all goes down to how useful and beneficial you have been.

Writing Tips To Consider

Plan your content
Be clear and straight to the point
Check for errors
Always provide useful data/tips
Never rush your content

The Nerd Blogger Style
The most information packed writing style, yet fails to capture readers interest.

Usual doers: over 'professional' bloggers
What it looks like: imagine a blog that looks like an extension of a wikipedia article. That's how the nerd blogging style works. Honestly, this one is a fave of mine since it never fails to provide quality rich information. The problem is that majority of the readers have no tolerance for these kinds of things. Readers want it in simple language, short but comprehensive and more so, fun.

Nerd blogging style is named as such since there is little much of consideration to the readability of the post. It's like a post with more than 1,000 words, figures and statistics everywhere and the tone of the language is strictly formal. Pretty much the newspaper writing style too. Discourages people from reading.

How to avoid it: Everything too much is just bad. This kind of style usually happens when you are engrossed too much on the topic. Avoiding this isn't really much of an issue. The only thing you have to check is to control yourself. Does it takes you two whole paragraphs to thoroughly explain a point? try cutting it down to one paragraph, or even better, a couple of sentences. If you can't help yourself from over writing, a good trick is to break down the post into a series. That way, you get it shorter and yet still as comprehensive as ever.

Writing Tips to Consider
Don't get carried away
Get to the point right away
Split long post into series
Avoid information overload
Think about 'readability'

The Conclusion of Bad Writing

You might have noticed that the two worst blogging styles in writing are committed by both newbies and pros. Simply put it, if you write too fast and too short, that would be a mistake and people will easily see through that. But still, if you write too long and too inconsiderate to the interest of your readers, that won't work either. So the solution is simple, keep it balanced. A good content is always as simple as 1-2-3 yet as helpful as your everyday dictionary. Got the point? I hope you did.

In The World Full of Scam Products, Who Do You Trust? Don't Get Mugged Online

Written by Liane. Find out who subscribes to the blog newsletter now.

online scam, product, blog, victimI have to extend an apology first. As you can see, I am no longer promoting the Clickbank Code product. After hours of research on Clickbank Code reviews, I came to realize that it's another worthless product afterall. There's a long story behind this, in the end, it's a useful story for me and probably for you too.

Is Clickbank Code Really a Fraud?

It is routine for me to check the products that I am promoting whether or not they adhere to certain standards and are really worth it afterall. Sorry to say, it was just this morning when I remembered on doing background research on CBC. The results of my search was shocking. Reading a number of reviews and feedbacks made me realize that it wasn't worth it afterall. I cam across numerous links and sad to say, they had a lot of bitter sentiments with the CBC.

>>Try doing your own search about the Clickbank Code

At least I felt a little less guilty when I checked my Clickbank account and knew that no one of my loved readers have suffered a budget deficit due to buying CBC through my affiliate links. Phew.

Always Know Better Than To Listen to Them

The lesson: always, always, always do your OWN research. It's just simple, fast, and it won't take 10 minutes of your time. But it can save your from being an online victim. With CBC, I didn't actually bought myself a copy. I just heard it from people and was really convinced by their sales page. A number of good names have also mentioned it so I followed suit believing it was a decent product. Turns out the opposite.

The Ugly Inconvenient Truth

...is that online products are designed for creators to make money, not the buyers. I rarely purchase online items. Up to now, I believe the only useful online product I've purchased is my domain name. And that's not overstating things.

However, I don't generalize. There are still a few exceptions to this idea... very rare exceptions at that. With this, I keep one rule in mind. Trust the big names. names that would certainly be sticking to some standards because they have a reputation to protect. If you are buying from someone you've never known before, chances are, you're in for some major disappointment.

Lessons for the Wise Online Shopper

Have a doubt. This is not to distrust anyone, this is for you to give yourself time to properly examine items before clicking on the purchase button. Doubt is good on many cases. Doubt makes you seek for then loopholes and it keeps you away from being an eager victim of petty sales-pages.

Look for feedbacks. The second best method is always to read feedback from people who have already purchased it. Keep in mind to be wary of testimonials. Most testimonials are fraud, edited, revised and/or scrapped of another pitch page. Look for real people who have had it and are using it. They can tell you a better picture of watch after the purchase button.

Don't Get Tricked by Numbers and Proofs. Dirty marketeers specially have programs to produce fake checks and statistics data. When being presented with numbers, always keep in mind that the investment price is being hidden before your eyes. They can easily say they made 10K in one month, but what you have to find out is on how much they have invested to reach hat 10K. For all you know, they might have invested 9K to reach that.

To Trust Someone is to Know Someone

Being 'reffered to' is a problematic thing. Know the creator inside-out. Is that really his skill or is it just making good sales-pages for people to jump in? Online victims are people who are usually eager and prone to being manipulated by people who knows the drive of the market force. Don't be gullible, be a savvy online purchaser. Remeber the line "look before you leap".

The Shortest Guide Ever for You to Make a Knock-out Blogging Victory- Revealed in 5 Minutes

Written by Liane. Find out who subscribes to the blog newsletter now.

Thousands of bloggers and marketeers all made guides about 'blogging success' through hundred pages ebook tutorials and videos. I've read a number of them, and in the end, I realized they are all talking about the samethings. The success guide is so simple and straight that it seems ridiculous to me now why it takes them so long to figure it out. But that's why I made this post, discover them right here, right now, all under 5 minutes of your coffee break. Game?

Liane's Knock 'em Out Blogging Success Guide

1. Learn Fast... Act fast
Bottom feeders will remain bottom feeders. Simple right? It's not just about memorizing the step-by-step procedures in setting up a blog, it's also discovering on what to do next and doing it within the next 24 hours (and I'm not kidding!). If you stick to some lazy 'I will finish my blog theme within a month' etc., just get the memo and leave. Quit slacking and start to buckle your seatbelt if you want blogging success. We always have to be on a fast ride, lest we get left rotting behind.

2. Lead the Competition
Okay, okay. So maybe you're just a newbie right now, you're just started blogging, you're just beginning to break into the niche. After a couple of months, that's not an excuse anymore. Here's the simple tip: be aggressive. You can't get the prize if you don't fight for it.

3. Think Out of the Box
Sure it's always good to follow the example of the already successful figures. But take head, there's always a difference between emulating professional methods and being just plain repetitive. Take Brian Clark of CopyBlogger for example, his latest ebook which is AuthorityRules is given out for free without sign-ups and other what nots. AT first, every pro critic thought it was bizzare, but people liked it and it sure did boost up his subscriber's list by thousands. See what I mean?

4. Know the Ins and Outs of Promotion
It's not just about heavy traffic (although that is something we have to think about everytime). For you to stay fresh and popular in the community, promotion is a must-learn technique. Hosting contests is the usual, but if you can think of more creative ideas, then go for it.

5. Think Like an Entreprenuer
On the popular side, blogging is personal. On the realistic side, blogging is business. Therefore, think and act like an entrepreneur! Before the end of the month, I will be releasing an ebook about this so watch out for it. Mark you calendars people, it's going to be big and full of 'success' goodness.

6. Stop Hesitating
Taken from one trusted pro marketeer:

If you want to do something, do it right now!

The end. That was fast was it? See? It's just that simple.
